Around 99% of a Talon
kit is pre-machined and pre-formed, and the few places where
match-drilling or fitting is needed at final assembly are simple with
our easy-to-follow instructions.

The
only rivets that the builder installs are of the pull-type, for easiest
installation. All fabrication and riveting of the main floor pan and
boom assembly is done at the factory, where Sport Flight Aviation makes
sure it’s done right with our special tooling.

simply bolt together using precise factory-machined holes and supplied
AN hardware - no complicated alignment procedures, special tools, and
chances for error.

Our pre-sewn sail fabric slips onto the wings and control surfaces like a glove, for a professional look right out of the hangar. There is no special shrinking process, and lots of colors and patterns are available. In the Talon assembly manual every drawing is accompanied by a BOM (Bill of Materials) and text instructions with special tips and hints to make the process easy. The manual also covers a wealth of information on topics such as weight and balance, work practices, AN hardware, painting, first flight, and maintenance of your Talon. |
