Designed to quickly accept floats in place of landing gear, the Talon has specially strengthened attach points built right in. And let’s face it; sometimes the unexpected happens and a gear leg actually needs to be replaced. On the Talon, removal of a single bolt releases the landing gear leg for removal. No major teardown involved. Compare this to some well-known designs where a hard landing all too often means bent structural members and a major rebuild.
